About

Kochi, also known as Cochin, is a vibrant port city on the southwest coast of India, often referred to as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea.” This city is a captivating blend of old-world charm and modern dynamism. Its history as a major spice trading hub has left it with a rich tapestry of cultures, evident in the colonial-era architecture of Fort Kochi, the historic Jewish Synagogue, and the iconic Chinese fishing nets that dot the coastline. Beyond its historical landmarks, Kochi is a bustling commercial and financial center of Kerala, with a thriving IT sector and a rapidly developing urban landscape. The city’s scenic backwaters, diverse cuisine, and a lively arts scene, including the famous Kochi-Muziris Biennale, make it a truly unique and compelling destination.
