About
Mangi-Tungi are twin-pinnacled peaks in the Nashik district of Maharashtra, revered as a major Jain pilgrimage site. This holy site is a testament to unwavering faith and remarkable human endeavor, marked by a massive, 108-foot-tall statue of Lord Rishabhanatha, the world’s tallest Jain idol. Pilgrims and trekkers alike climb thousands of steps carved into the rock face to reach the summit, where ancient caves, carved images of Jain deities, and temples await. The journey to the top of both Mangi and Tungi is both physically demanding and spiritually enriching, offering not just breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape but also a profound sense of peace and divine connection
